Yoga has developed from thousands of years of spiritual, mental and physical practice with its origins in India. The aims are to transform everyone's mind and body. This history extends from times long before the first religion or belief systems were born.
Yoga from Sanskrit means unity. Yoga is a discipline which ensures freedom through unity of body, mind and consciousness.
In Hatha yoga the emphasis is on physical practice-asanas or poses, pranayama (breathing exercises) and relaxation.
I can vouch from my own experiences that Yoga has changed my lifestyle both in body and mind. I develop this personal experience in the approach to my classes.
